1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ME+MA CIC website and our medical cannabis consultation services. By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. About Us

ME+MA Community Interest Company is a UK-registered Community Interest Company providing medical cannabis consultations. We are a patient-led clinic operated for the benefit of the community.

3. Eligibility

• You must be 18 years of age or older
• You must be ordinarily resident in the UK
• You must have a qualifying medical condition as determined by our clinicians
• You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
• You must not be seeking cannabis for recreational use

4. Medical Consultations

• All consultations are conducted by GMC-registered specialist doctors
• Consultations may be via video or other approved remote methods
• Prescriptions are issued only when clinically appropriate
• We reserve the right to refuse treatment if not clinically indicated
• You must disclose all relevant medical conditions and medications

5. Prescriptions and Pharmacy

• Prescriptions are issued for cannabis-based medicinal products approved under UK regulations
• Prescriptions are fulfilled through registered UK pharmacies
• You must follow all dosage and usage instructions provided by your doctor
• Prescription costs are separate from consultation fees

6. Fees and Payment

• Consultation fees are as displayed on our pricing page
• Payment is required at the time of booking (PAYG) or per subscription terms
• We use secure third-party payment processors
• All fees are inclusive of VAT where applicable
• We reserve the right to adjust fees with reasonable notice

7. Cancellations and Refunds

• Cancellations made more than 24 hours before appointment: full refund
• Cancellations within 24 hours: no refund (clinician time allocated)
• No-shows: no refund
• If we cancel your appointment: full refund or reschedule at your preference
• Subscription cancellations: pro-rata refund for unused full months

8. Medical Records

• We maintain medical records in accordance with GMC and UK law
• You have the right to access your medical records
• Records may be shared with your NHS GP with your consent
• We retain records for the periods required by medical regulations

9. Intellectual Property

• All website content, branding, and materials are owned by ME+MA CIC
• You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission
• The 麻 (Má) symbol and associated branding are our trademarks

10. Limitation of Liability

• We provide medical services with reasonable care and skill
• We are not liable for adverse effects if you do not follow medical advice
• We are not liable for delays caused by pharmacy or third-party providers
• Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question
• Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence

11. Your Responsibilities

• Provide accurate medical information
• Attend appointments punctually
• Follow prescribed treatment plans
• Not share prescribed medication with others
• Not drive or operate machinery if impaired by medication
• Inform us of any side effects or concerns promptly

12. Termination

• You may stop using our services at any time
• We may terminate services if you breach these Terms or if clinically appropriate
• Termination does not affect accrued rights or medical record retention obligations

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
